You can install the Knowledge Base for Documents and FAQs from your WordPress Dashboard or manually upload it through FTP.

OPTION 1: Install Knowledgebase Plugin from WordPress Dashboard

  1. Navigate to Plugins -> Add New.
  2. Search for ‘Knowledge Base for Documents and FAQs’ and install the plugin.
  3. Activate the plugin in the Plugins menu.
  4. Optional step: configure the plugin in Admin menu, in Knowledge Base -> KB Configuration page.

OPTION 2: Manually Upload Plugin Files

  1. Download the plugin file from the plugin page:
  2. Unzip the file
  3. Upload the ‘echo-knowledge-base’ folder to your ‘/wp-content/plugins’ directory (do not rename the folder).
  4. Optional step: configure the plugin in Admin menu, in Knowledge Base -> KB Configuration page.

Fast support, day or night. Great options, but not bloated. Easy to use and based around WP core. No problems on PHP 8.

There are many knowledge base plugins available, but most of them only provide basic features for free (if any). The free version of Echo-KB offers a surprising amount of options. Additionally, the price of add-ons is very reasonable. Furthermore, it has an easy-to-use interface that enables you to modify the main knowledge base page, such as the default text for search buttons, etc. The last is particularly useful for a non-English website. Furthermore, it seems to work well with a Right-to-Left website without any CSS tweaks, which is not true for most plugins and themes out there. Well done!

I have been using Knowledge Base for Documentation and FAQs on a client site that uses DIVI theme for a few weeks now. It works very well with DIVI, posting KB articles I can use easy templates as with standard blog posts Support is very fast in responses to the few questions I had with the exact info I needed
