    As medidas da imagem de cabeçalho são definidas no functions.php do tema.

    Esse é o link da documentação da função que você precisará procurar:

    O meu arquivo functions.php é esse:

    <?php

    * are used in the theme as custom template tags. Others are attached to action and
    * filter hooks in WordPress to change core functionality.

    // updater for WordPress.com themes
    if ( is_admin() )
    include dirname( __FILE__ ) . ‘/inc/updater.php’;

    Nele eu não encontrei o trecho específico do HEADER, que seria este:

    $args = array(
    ‘width’ => 980,
    ‘height’ => 60,
    ‘default-image’ => get_template_directory_uri() . ‘/images/header.jpg’,
    );
    add_theme_support( ‘custom-header’, $args );

    Basta eu incluir esse código, adaptando para as minhas medidas, que funcionará?
