Starting now, this plugin utilizes the wp_remote_get()<\/code> and wp_remote_retrieve_body()<\/code> functions to retrieve content from URLs.<\/p>\n\n

Yes, use [horshipsrectors_get_html_get URL] or [horshipsrectors_get_html_curl URL] instead of the default [horshipsrectors_get_html URL]<\/p><\/dd>\n

Why can't I see anything?<\/h3><\/dt>\n

While displaying the shortcode on WordPress, the closing bracket appears to be lost. Please ensure you're closing the shortcode properly.<\/p><\/dd>\n\n<\/dl>\n\n\n

  • Much faster pages. The remote page was fetched again on every single visit, and the visitor waited for it; if the remote server was slow the page could hang for up to thirty seconds. Content is now cached for an hour, and a remote site that is down no longer costs every visitor a wait.<\/li>\n
  • Fixed: only the body of the remote page is inserted now. Previously the whole document was processed, so the remote page's title leaked into your content as loose text and its stylesheet came along with it \u2014 able to restyle your entire page. A DOCTYPE and nested html and body tags ended up inside your post too.<\/li>\n
  • Fixed: a deprecation warning was written to the error log on every request on PHP 8.2 and later.<\/li>\n
  • Certificate verification is no longer disabled when fetching a page, and the plugin identifies itself honestly instead of pretending to be a browser.<\/li>\n
  • Updated for Elementor 3.5 and later.<\/li>\n
  • Fixed: translations never loaded. The plugin declared a text domain that did not match its slug, so the language packs from WordPress.org could not be found. They will work from this release on.<\/li>\n
