Stripe is a simple way to accept payments online. With Stripe you can accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, and Diners Club cards, even Bitcoin, directly on your store.

Stripe has no setup fees, no monthly fees, no hidden costs: you only get charged when you earn money! Earnings are transferred to your bank account on a 7-day rolling basis.

Stripe also supports the Subscriptions extension and re-using cards. When a customer pays, they are set up in Stripe as a customer. If they create another order, they can check out using the same card. A massive timesaver for returning customers.

Apple Pay Support

WooCommerce Stripe now includes Apple Pay support, which means customers can pay using payment details associated to their Apple ID. Checkout is now just a thumbprint away. on both mobile and desktop. Only supports simple and variable products for now. More support to come.

Web Payments API Support

WooCommerce Stripe now includes Web Payments API support, which means customers can pay using payment details associated to their mobile devices, in browsers supporting the Web Payments API (Chrome for Android, amongst others). Instalação

Please note, v4 of this gateway requires WooCommerce 2.6 and above.

You can download an older version of this gateway for older versions of WooCommerce from here.

Automatic installation

Automatic installation is the easiest option as WordPress handles the file transfers itself and you don’t need to leave your web browser. To
do an automatic install of, log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins menu and click Add New.

In the search field type “WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway” and click Search Plugins. Once you’ve found our plugin you can view details about it such as the point release, rating and description. Most importantly of course, you can install it by simply clicking “Install Now”.

Manual installation

The manual installation method involves downloading our plugin and uploading it to your web server via your favorite FTP application. The WordPress codex contains instructions on how to do this here.

Updating

Automatic updates should work like a charm; as always though, ensure you backup your site just in case.

Does this support recurring payments, like for subscriptions?

Does this require an SSL certificate?

Yes! In live mode, an SSL certificate must be installed on your site to use Stripe. In addition to SSL encryption, Stripe provides an extra JavaScript method to secure card data.

Does this support both production mode and sandbox mode for testing?

Yes it does – production and sandbox mode is driven by the API keys you use.

Pretty bad

This third party Stripe plugin is just not very good. So far, it seems to work, but turning off the Credit Card payment method completely ruins the plugin, disabling other payment methods and throwing CSS out the window. I have been in touch with Stripe to check if maybe Credit Card payment has to be enabled to allow for the other payment methods, but apparently that is not the case. I'm glad a plugin for Stripe has been made, but it's really not as good as I would expect from WooCommerce.

Great addition to Woocommerce and timely support

THis is a usefull addition to woo c and opens up the possibility of stripe, a world renowned and reliable option to paypal. As Paypal is not accepted in some countries, this is well worth installing. The developer also offers excellent support and helped us to clear a problem with incorrect keys causing a failed transaction. Fully recommended, and many thanks for your contribution to WordPress!

No Apple Pay

Although my Stripe dashbord is correctly configured, the Google Pay and Bitcoin buttons do not appear. What a pity!

Assistance that responds late and lock the account without anomaly on the online store, without warning mails and responding blurry, such an automatic response without concrete elements. In addition, after freezing the account, they refund the sales made to customers and it is up to you to successfully rebill your transactions. I do not recommend this module at all. Opt instead for PayPal or a banking module.

Install this if you want to lose customers, orders and money

So I set this up. Tested for a week. All ready. Did advertising and waiting.. waiting...waiting... Spent $1500 on Google ads for 7 days. Nothing. Then i figured out this plugin is fu**ing my entire checkout page. The whole checkout page was broken this plugin fails to connect to stripe. Eventhough my testing was ok, somehow this decided to just break. Same issue as this guy (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/screwed-up-my-whole-site-3/). I lost money, clients and time. Im sorry but not sorry. This plugin is a shithole. You woldnt believe how angry I am. Thanks woocommerce.
