The installation and configuration of the plugin is as simple as it can be.

Using The WordPress Dashboard

  1. Navigate to the ‘Add New’ in the plugins dashboard
  2. Search for ‘twitch for wordpress’
  3. Click ‘Install Now’
  4. Activate the plugin on the Plugin dashboard

Uploading in WordPress Dashboard

  1. Navigate to the ‘Add New’ in the plugins dashboard
  2. Navigate to the ‘Upload’ area
  3. Select zip file from your computer
  4. Click ‘Install Now’
  5. Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard

Using FTP

  1. Download the plugin
  2. Extract the directory to your computer
  3. Upload the directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  4. Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard

We have used the premium version of this plugin for over 2 years. Anytime an issue happened with Twitch API changes etc. the developer has a patch ready within hours or days! If you're looking to display your or a friend's Twitch stream on a website then this is the plugin for you. We have had no issues period!

Didn't tell you that you can't use the plugin within a page when I downloaded it, only works in side-bar. The limitation wasn't clarified beforehand and since then, the description has been updated 2 extra stars.

The developer of this has switched hands, and I'm hopeful for the support to greatly increase as well. We have been using this plugin for about 1.5 years now, and definitely love it!

Works amazing. It would be even better if you could control how many online streams will automatically start. Perfect widget for gaming-related websites

You should add column formatting so that it fits automatically. And you can see all direct in Grid format. It would be great, and you would have many more facilities. Extra opinion, you should improve the Plugin miniature, it does not emphasize enough because it seems unprofessional. Nice Plugin!
