This plugin can be used to send emails to customers who bought a WooCommerce downloadable product; letting them know that there’s been an update to their download. Never let customers guess if an edition of the e-book they bought or other product they bought has been updated. No more need to manually email customers about downloadable product updates or creating a new product. #### Pro Version Take a look at the Pro version for more functionality including HTML Emails, Variable Product Support and more! [Go to Pro plugin page.](https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-downloadable-product-update-emails/18908283?ref=TheLoneDev) ### Donations Buy the Pro version 🙂 ## Capturas de tela [⌊Plugin UI on product page (button turned off).⌉⌊Plugin UI on product page (button turned off).⌉[ Plugin UI on product page (button turned off). Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress 3. Use the Settings->Product Update Emails screen to configure the plugin Email sends as wordpress.example.com I used wp_mail in the plugin so you could easily override the default send from email using an SMTP plugin such as: https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-smtp/ HTML Email Templates? Available in Pro version of plugin. What are Email Bursts? Used for setting the amount of emails addresses to grab and send emails to every time the scheduled time hits. What Happens if I set the email bursts amount to more than 10? In theory there should be no problem with this. But if you are on shared hosting it’s recommended that you keep the bursts count at a decent amount. ## Avaliações ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/90dba2594d239875e4331f769bfcab7f87feeb6653604f51f74bff5683e9d222? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[A much-needed time saver](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/a-much-needed-time-saver/)󠁿 [guesthollow](https://profiles.wordpress.org/guesthollow/) 21 março, 2017 This plugin allows me to automatically send notices to customers who've purchased my downloadable items whenever I update the products. I've seen other plugins that do this, but they are way out of my budget and have all sorts of other capabilities that I don't need. This plugin is simple and does the job. It also comes with great support. Even though I hadn't purchased the PRO version, the plugin author made a plugin fix to correct a problem I was having. I am definitely going to buy the PRO version after being taken care of so well when I ran into an issue with the lite version. This plugin is WELL worth the download and I am happy to purchase the upgrade. It is going to save me so much time and work having to notify customers of updates. My customers love being notified of free updates, and I love how this plugin lets me do the job with a flip of a virtual switch. Seriously, this is probably one of the best (and much needed) plugins for Woocommerce that I've found. ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/59b303135fb59ff74f278584ba00f9c32d62ab0add785af3a6ceddf71daa7131? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[Doesn’t work with multi-site 🙁](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/doesnt-work-with-multi-site-2/)󠁿 [ciaranlyons](https://profiles.wordpress.org/ciaranlyons/) 2 março, 2017 1 resposta Unfortunately, while WCDPUE Lite installs and activates properly when using Wordpress Multi-Site, it does not send the product update emails. ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/dd3a0a2c7083f0b2b5be13f02e9842853a44b92ed87d17aa4bdad19716fdc9f2? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[Does what it says](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/does-what-it-says-498/)󠁿 [Uriahs Victor](https://profiles.wordpress.org/uriahs-victor/) 10 janeiro, 2017 Plugin works perfectly with WooCommerce without need for additional plugins to manage downloads on your website.
