In the Legacy Container, it was much easier to create a consistent global layout. I could set the container width and horizontal padding once, and the content across different sections would naturally align with the same left and right boundaries as the header/logo. For example: Full-width section/background Inner content automatically follows the same max-width Left/right spacing remains consistent across the website The same layout works across multiple sections without manually configuring each section With the current Spectra Blocks/Container workflow, I often have to configure the width, padding, and responsive settings individually for each section/container. This makes building a page considerably slower, especially for pages with many sections. The responsive behavior is another concern. On mobile, I would expect the global container settings to automatically handle the horizontal spacing, similar to how a global container system works in Elementor or the previous Spectra Legacy Container. Instead, it often feels like I need to adjust responsive settings for individual containers/ sections. For example, I would ideally like to define something like: Desktop Max- width: 1200px Horizontal padding: 24px Mobile Horizontal padding: 16px Then every section using the global container would automatically follow those rules. The desired structure would be something like: Full Width Section └── Global/Inner Container ├── Max-width: 1200px ├── Desktop spacing └── Responsive spacing Rather than having to configure: Section 1 width/padding/responsive settings Section 2 width/padding/ responsive settings Section 3 width/padding/responsive settings Section 4 width/ padding/responsive settings … This is especially noticeable when building websites with many sections. I really like Spectra and the direction of the block editor, but the current workflow feels less efficient for this particular use case compared to the Legacy Container. Would it be possible to consider adding a global container/ layout system where users can define: Global content max-width Global horizontal padding Tablet/mobile spacing Consistent alignment with the header/navigation Full- width sections that automatically inherit the global inner container Optional container presets that can be reused across the entire site This would make Spectra much faster to work with for developers/designers who build complete websites rather than individual blocks. I was moving some pages from a development site to a production site and both are using different themes. I use it regularly though not on full scale. Recently I had some issues and Support was there for me right away. Seriously, they reply very quick and try to help. We solved the problem the next day (time zones differences). For me support place important role in any product. Even excellent product but with lack of human support is no go.
