Installation Instructions

How to install Lemonade SNA Core plugin.

1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/lemonade_social_networks_autoposter_pinterest directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
3. Start to work with the plugin from the Lemonade SNA Pinterest menu in the admin dashboard

Do I need any activation codes?

You will need some access tokens and keys from social networks, which you are going to use. That keys will confirm you rights to post something to chosen social networks accounts. No other codes for activation or something like this can be asked.

I try to set up Pinterest API, but something is going wrong…

First of all, read very ATTENTIVELY the instruction how to set up Pinterest API. It needs two steps of authorization.

Check that your Pinterest app is created on the right way. Check Site URL and Redirect URIs fields. The site url is the link to your web-site. The redirect uri should be a link to admin dashboard page with Pinterest API settings, e.g. https://www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=lemonade_sna_pinterest2. It should start with HTTPS://.

If ssl is not setted up for your site, at the moment, when you are redirected back to admin dashboard through https protocol, you will probably get a message from your browser that a connection to your website is insecure. Just add a secure excerption an continue work. You also may be asked to re-login to the site.

Some problems can be caused temporarily by Pinterest. Everytime read attentively an error message which Pinterest sends.

If your app is old, sometimes creating of a new app helps.

What are the limitations of the free version?

• You are limited with the number of templates which you can create for Pins or Autoposter (2). The paid version allows you to create as many åemplates as you need.
• You don’t have some shortcodes for Pin templates which you get with the paid version.
• You can’t create individual Pin templates for posts.
• You can’t set up Rich Pin meta with the free version.
• You can set up only one board for to post with each Autoposter template. In the paid version it is allowed to create a posting to several Pinterest boards with one Autoposter template.
• You are limited with autoposter schedule settings. For example, you can’t choose special dates, weekdays or time for to make posting.
• You can’t use custom taxonomies for to filter posts which will be used by Autoposter template.
• You can’t use custom meta-fields as a filter for Autoposter template.

This things you still will get with the free plugin:

• You can create up to two (2) Pin templates for different post types and categories. You can use our shortcodes for to manage templates.
• You can filter posts for autoposter using CPT (cuctom post types), post formats, categories, tags, authors, dates.
• You can create up to two (2) autoposter templates.
• You can change an interval between re-posting with the step up to 1 minute.
• You can enjoy Live Stream reports which will show you the process of posting of your publications to Pinterest.
• You get a high-quality auto-posting management system which frees you from a routine of creating re-pins by yourself.

What if WP Cron is not working on my hosting, can I still use the plugin?

Sure, you still can use our plugin. There are several alternatives to WP Cron.

First of all, you can create a Cron Job using management panel of your hosting.

Also, there are some online servces, which provide external Cron functionality. We would not like to give an advertisement for any of them, but it’s easy to find that resourses with online searching.
