How do I include which custom fields labels are which custom field values in my Constant Contact Account?

You can add this to your active theme or custom plugin: add_filter( 'constant_contact_include_custom_field_label', '__return_true' );. Note: custom fields have a max length of 50 characters. Including the labels will subtract from the 50 character total available.

Which account level access is needed to connect my WordPress account to Constant Contact?

You will need to make the connection to Constant Contact using the credentials of the account owner. Campaign manager credentials will not have enough access.

You're totally on your own with this thing. The form function uses shortcodes but ConstantContact support says it doesn't use shortcodes. Look for guidance from ConstantContact and you probably won't find it. The more I attempt work with ConstantContact the more I am perplexed as to how they remain in business. There are a few with a helpful attitude but the structure does not match reality.

This would be a much better tool if they didn't try to rigidly style the forms. We've spent many days trying to massage the output to fit our site. It's leading us to reconsider Constant Contact (after a decade with them).

The tool makes everything simple and maybe it is the success and the curse because when you want more there is no way to add anything, you have to work with the things that have been given to you, e.g. there is no way to add drop down menu to registration forms

Seems to work OK (although I see error messages occasionally). However, it doesn't seem to be integrated well with Constant Contact. Constant Contact has its own forms and integration, but these forms seem totally separate from those. On the positive side, that means these forms match the style of my WordPress theme. On the other hand, I have to set the fields and operation of the form independently. Update: I am pleased to see there is now a way to add a choice of list when the user signs up.

This plugin compared to the myriad of options there are for Mailchimp makes it frustrating to use by comparison. For instance, if you just want a simple signup form to collect an email with the signup button next to it you're going to need to code your way through that. Want the checkbox to then appear underneath it well you're going to need some more code. Finally want to link the text in that now checkbox form well.... you can't. Like if this form was being used solely as a contact form then it would be fine. However, since most users of this probably already are using an alternative plugin for a contact form it doesn't provide a lot of value. This plugin should be more of a bridge to create a nice looking signup form for a newsletter not a limited variation of a contact form. It gets 2 stars because it's integration was fine, it's relatively easy to use but if you're making a form that isn't vertical and you don't know how to code I think it's too difficult. Therefore, I think it's too difficult for the average user.

It's a good idea if you use the service and it might work decent for some, but it definitely needs more customization which is lacking imo. If there are ever any updates addressing this; I might try it again....until
