## Descrição

Amitry Slider shows WooCommerce products or product categories in a clean, responsive
carousel. Add it as a Gutenberg block, an Elementor widget or a shortcode, with
no code required.

Most product sliders force every photo into one fixed frame and crop whatever does
not fit. That suits packshots and spoils anything photographed. Amitry Slider can
shape the frame around your photos instead, so portrait, landscape and square images
all appear whole, with nothing cropped and no empty space. It is built for shops
where the picture is the product: prints, art, antiques, photography.

It loads its stylesheet and JavaScript only on pages that actually contain a slider,
so the rest of your site carries none of it.

**[Get the Pro add-on](https://amitry.de/en/plugins/amitry-product-category-slider-2/)**
for premium designs, a thumbnail strip, a full screen lightbox, a category switcher
for visitors, a masonry grid view and more.

Live demo: see the product slider, category carousel and every premium design in
action on the [live demo site](https://slider.amitry.de/).

#### In the wild

Two live photography stores run it, both used with kind permission:

 * [peteraphoto.com/about](https://peteraphoto.com/about/) carries a product slider
   of around 620 images on the free version, which is a fair test of whether “lightweight”
   holds up at scale.
 * [peteraitchison.co.uk](https://peteraitchison.co.uk/) uses the Pro add-on throughout:
   a plain full-width showcase on the home page, and collection pages built from
   product categories with a thumbnail strip, arrows and a lightbox.

#### Why choose this WooCommerce slider

 * **No code needed.** Add a slider with a block, widget or shortcode
 * **Product slider and category slider** in one plugin
 * **Fully responsive.** Separate settings for desktop, tablet and mobile
 * **Lightweight and fast.** Assets load only on pages with a slider
 * **SEO-friendly.** Server-side rendered HTML, content visible without JavaScript
 * **Works with any theme.** Block themes (FSE) and classic themes
 * **Accessible.** Keyboard navigation and respects the system reduced-motion setting
 * **Translation-ready.** Ships with a .pot file
 * **Honest free version.** Everything described here is in the free plugin

#### Three ways to add a slider

 * **Gutenberg block.** Search for “Amitry” in the block inserter and add the Amitry
   Product & Category Slider block to any page or post, with a live preview
 * **Elementor widget.** A dedicated Amitry Slider widget appears in the Elementor
   editor
 * **Shortcode.** Drop `[amitry_slider]` into any content area

All three share one render engine, so every option behaves identically wherever
you use it.

#### Popular use cases

 * **Homepage product slider.** Feature your best products front and center
 * **New arrivals carousel.** Show the newest products in your store automatically
 * **Best sellers slider.** Highlight your top selling WooCommerce products
 * **Sale and deals slider.** Display on-sale products, with an optional countdown
   timer in Pro
 * **Featured products showcase.** Present a hand-picked selection of products
 * **Product category carousel.** Help shoppers browse your store by category
 * **More from the collection.** Add a slider of a chosen category to single product
   pages to keep visitors shopping
 * **Photography and portfolio galleries.** Show uncropped photos at their true
   proportions
 * **Shop and landing page carousels.** Add a product carousel anywhere with the
   block, widget or shortcode

#### Product slider

Pull products from any of these sources, chosen under **Products From** in both
the block editor and Elementor:

 * Newest products
 * Best selling
 * On sale
 * Featured
 * Top rated
 * From specific categories, picked from a list of your own product categories
 * Specific products by ID, using the shortcode

Show or hide each element: product image, title, price with sale strike-through,
sale badge, rating stars, short description, stock status (with an “Only X left”
note when stock runs low) and an add-to-cart button.

#### Category slider

 * Show all product categories with an optional exclude list
 * Sort by name, product count or menu order
 * Hide empty categories
 * Falls back to the first product image when a category has no thumbnail
 * Optional product count per category

#### Layout and design

 * Two card styles: Clean Card and Minimal
 * Rounded, square or circle image shapes
 * Aspect ratios: 1:1, 4:3, 3:2, 3:4, 2:3 and 16:9, plus **Automatic**, which shapes
   one frame to suit your photos, and **Follow each image**, which gives every card
   the shape of its own photo
 * **Image Fit.** Crop to fill for uniform cards, or show the full image uncropped,
   ideal for photography. Where a photo has a plain background, any space around
   it takes that color, and you can also make it transparent
 * **Content Alignment.** Align the card title, price and other text left, center
   or right
 * **Max Width.** Cap how wide the slider grows and center it, which keeps single-
   column sliders tidy on full width themes
 * Adjustable columns per device, gap, card padding, radius and shadow
 * Hover effects: lift, zoom, shine, lift plus shine and lift plus zoom
 * Section heading, subheading and an optional View All button

#### Behavior and navigation

 * **Transitions.** Slide, or Fade for one large image at a time
 * Arrows, dots, scrollbar, progress bar, slide counter and keyboard control
 * Autoplay with delay, loop and pause on hover
 * Per-device control over which navigation appears

#### Block editor integration

The Gutenberg block keeps its options in the two sidebar tabs: Settings for the
data source, layout, behavior, navigation and card content, and Styles for the card
style, image, colors, shadows and hover effects. A live server-side preview shows
exactly what visitors will see.

#### Shortcode

Every block option is available as a shortcode attribute. Write the option’s name
in snake_case: the block’s titleColor becomes `title_color` and showArrowsMobile
becomes `show_arrows_mobile`. The most used options also have short names, such
as `type`, `filter`, `count`, `aspect` and `fit`.

    ```
    [amitry_slider type="products" filter="newest" count="12"]
    [amitry_slider type="products" filter="on_sale" slides_desktop="4"]
    [amitry_slider type="products" filter="by_category" categories="12,15" aspect="each" fit="contain"]
    [amitry_slider type="products" filter="manual" products="12,15,18"]
    [amitry_slider type="products" effect="fade" fit="contain"]
    [amitry_slider type="products" align="center" max_width="1140"]
    [amitry_slider type="products" title="New in" title_color="#143a2e" show_arrows_mobile="false"]
    [amitry_slider type="categories" sort="count" exclude="42,43"]
    ```

Values for `filter`: newest, bestselling, on_sale, featured, top_rated, by_category
or manual. Values for `aspect`: auto, each, 1-1, 4-3, 3-2, 3-4, 2-3 or 16-9. Switches
take true or false, and lists of product or category IDs are separated by commas.

#### Performance

 * CSS and JavaScript load only on pages where a slider is rendered
 * Optional caching of product and category queries, switched on from code with
   the `wcsp_settings` filter
 * Images are requested at a proportional size, so photos keep their real proportions
   and no extra crop is generated on upload
 * Swiper is bundled locally, with no external CDN requests

#### WooCommerce compatible

 * HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage) compatible
 * Cart and Checkout blocks compatible
 * Works with the latest WooCommerce and WordPress

#### Go further with Pro

Pro is a separate add-on that runs on top of the free plugin. Everything described
above stays free, including choosing which categories a product slider pulls from.
Pro adds the following.

**Viewing and navigation**

 * **Thumbnail strip.** A row of clickable thumbnails below the slider, synced with
   the main image
 * **Lightbox.** An expand button opens a full screen viewer with crossfading photos,
   a slideshow button, a full screen mode and swipe on touch devices. Each photo
   links to its product
 * **Hover Zoom.** A magnifier lens follows the pointer and zooms into detail using
   the original image
 * **Grid View Toggle.** Visitors switch between the slider and a true masonry grid
   of uncropped photos, with a control for the number of columns

**Browsing and scale**

 * **Category Switcher for visitors.** A menu in the section head that lets shoppers
   switch between categories on the page itself. This is separate from choosing
   which categories a slider shows, which is free. Products load on demand
 * **Load More.** Show one batch and append the next on demand, which keeps large
   catalogs fast

**Selling**

 * **Hover Image Swap.** Show the second product image on hover
 * **Custom Badges.** Automatic New and Bestseller badges
 * **AJAX Add to Cart.** Add to the cart without reloading the page
 * **Quick View.** A product preview popup
 * **Sale Countdown.** A timer on products whose sale has an end date
 * **Wishlist.** A heart button with a dedicated wishlist page
 * **Stock Bar and Low Stock Label.** Show scarcity on low-stock products

**Premium designs**

 * Overlay, Circle, 3D Carousel and Masonry

## Perguntas frequentes

### Does this plugin work without WooCommerce?

No. WooCommerce is required because the plugin reads WooCommerce products and product
categories.

### How do I add a product slider without code?

Add the Amitry Product & Category Slider block and set Show to Products, or add
the Elementor widget and set Slider Type to Products, or paste the `[amitry_slider
type="products"]` shortcode. No code is required.

### Can I show product categories as a carousel?

Yes. Set Show to Categories in the block editor, or Slider Type to Categories in
Elementor, to display a WooCommerce category carousel with images, names and optional
product counts.

### Are my photos cropped?

Only visually, and only if you want. The slider requests a proportional image and
applies the shape you choose with CSS, so the file on disk keeps its real proportions.
Set Image Fit to “Crop to fill” for uniform cards, or to “Show full image” to display
the whole photo uncropped. Nothing is cropped on upload.

### My photos are 3:2 or 2:3, not 4:3. Will they work?

Yes, and you have three ways to handle it. 3:2 and 2:3 are built in alongside 1:
1, 4:3, 3:4 and 16:9, if you shoot to one consistent ratio. “Automatic” shapes a
single frame to suit whatever your photos actually are, which suits most shops. “
Follow each image” gives every card the shape of its own photo, so a mixture of
portrait and landscape all fill their frames with nothing cropped and nothing left
over, at the cost of cards having different heights. Your files are never altered
on upload.

### The slider is too wide on my theme. What can I do?

Set the Max Width option. In the block editor it is in the Card Style panel; in
the Elementor widget it is under Elements. The slider will grow no wider than that
value and will center itself, which is useful on themes with a wide or full width
content area.

### Is it compatible with HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage)?

Yes. The plugin declares compatibility with `custom_order_tables`. It does not read
or write orders.

### Is it compatible with block themes (FSE)?

Yes. The block uses server-side rendering and works in any theme that supports the
block editor.

### Does it work with Elementor?

Yes. A dedicated Amitry Slider widget is registered automatically when Elementor
is active.

### Will the slider slow down my site?

No. The slider only loads its CSS and JavaScript on pages where it is actually used,
and Swiper is bundled locally instead of loaded from an external CDN.

### Is the slider responsive on mobile?

Yes. You can set a different number of slides per view for desktop, tablet and mobile,
and choose which navigation appears on each.

### Is it accessible?

The slider supports keyboard navigation, and it respects the system reduced-motion
setting: autoplay is disabled, transitions are instant and hover motion is removed.

### Is it translation-ready?

Yes. The plugin uses standard WordPress internationalization and ships with a .pot
file in `/languages/`.

### Is there a live demo?

Yes. You can see the product slider, category carousel and all premium designs in
action on the [live demo](https://slider.amitry.de/).

### Can I create a featured products slider?

Yes. Set “Products From” to Featured to build a featured products slider. You can
also pull from newest, best selling, on sale, top rated or a specific category.

### Can I show products from a specific category?

Yes. Set “Products From” to “From Category”, then pick the categories you want.
It works the same in the block editor and in Elementor, and it is part of the free
plugin. You can also use the category slider to display your product categories
as a carousel instead.

### My product photos are all different shapes. What is the tidiest way to show them?

Set Image Ratio (Image Aspect Ratio in Elementor) to “Automatic” and the frame takes
the shape your photos actually are, rather than a preset you have to guess at. If
nothing may be cropped at all, choose “Follow each image”: every card then takes
the shape of its own photo, so each one fills its frame exactly. Cards will vary
in height, which is the price of never cropping and never leaving a gap. In “Show
full image” any remainder is filled with the photo’s own background color when it
has a plain one, so a card still reads as one surface.

### Does the slider support autoplay and infinite loop?

Yes. You can enable autoplay with an adjustable delay, pause on hover and seamless
infinite looping.

### Can I customize the slider design and colors?

Yes. You can choose a card style, image shape, aspect ratio, image fit, content
alignment, max width, columns per device, gaps, shadows and hover effects, plus
colors for titles, prices and buttons.

### Does it work on the WooCommerce shop and product pages?

Yes. You can place a slider on any page or post, including the homepage, shop page,
single product pages and landing pages, using the block, the Elementor widget or
the shortcode.

### What does the Pro add-on add?

Pro adds a thumbnail strip, a full screen lightbox, a hover zoom magnifier, a masonry
grid view with a toggle, a category switcher for visitors, a load more button, hover
image swap, automatic badges, AJAX add to cart, quick view, a sale countdown, a
wishlist, stock indicators and four premium designs. The free plugin stays complete
on its own, and Pro requires it.

### Can I extend the plugin from my own code?

Yes. The plugin offers filters and actions for add-ons, each documented in the source
code where it runs: filters for the rendered classes, the card markup, the image
size, the queries and the render attributes, plus actions around the render and
inside the section head. For example, this switches on the optional query cache:

    ```
    add_filter( 'wcsp_settings', function ( $settings ) {
        $settings['queryCache'] = true;
        return $settings;
    } );
    ```

Unable to choose products from specific categories and link to product page. Read
the app description first before downloading. Description on App Page below, stating
that products can be pulled by category, they can't. Photo's cut short. Product
slider Pull products from any of these sources: Newest products Best selling On
sale Featured Top rated Manual selection By category NOPE!!!!!!!! Technically yes
you give two options Product or Category. You do not give option in Product slider
to choose which category to pull products from. Yet you that option in category
section to exclude categories. Then you write that the following are included in
Pro Version Go further with Pro The free plugin above is complete and works fully
on its own. The separate Pro add-on requires it and extends it through the public
hook API, with nothing removed from the free version.

This looks like a good addition to the product-slider market. I hope the designers
don't mind the review title, but my understanding is that this is a start-up company
dipping its toes into the water. I was looking for a slider for a photography website,
and this plugin does the job very well, with a little bit of CSS tweaking. I haven't
found many free plugins which allow such granularity of product selection (categories…
or 'galleries' in my case, tags, etc.). I also like the fact that you can build
the slider on the page rather than setting up separate galleries and shortcodes.
I haven't investigated the features of the paid version as yet and the free one
seems to do the job. No doubt there will be a raft of feature requests which may
or may not find their way into one of the versions. My use case is pretty simple:
one big photo (product) per page with the others in the same gallery ready to slide
in to occupy the main space. I would love to see a small strip of thumbnails below
the main image in place of the navigation, for example. Thanks for this plugin and
all the best with the business.

## Registro de alterações

#### 5.1.0

 * New: every block option can now be set in the shortcode. Write the option’s name
   in snake_case, so titleColor becomes title_color. Until now 29 options could
   not be set from the shortcode, although the description said all of them could.
   The short names keep working, and options added by the Pro add-on are included
   too.
 * Fixed: “Follow each image” now gives every photo its own frame. Until now each
   frame was held within a quarter of the slider’s typical photo shape, so in a
   mix of portrait and landscape photos the less common orientation was cropped,
   or had empty space around it in “Show full image”. Only extreme shapes, wider
   than 5:2 or taller than 2:5, are still held back.
 * Fixed: with “Follow each image”, the arrows sat halfway down the tallest card,
   which could put them over another card’s title or button, or beside a short card
   in empty space. They now sit near the top, on the images.
 * Fixed: with “Follow each image”, every card was stretched to the height of the
   tallest one until the slider script had started, or throughout when JavaScript
   was off, leaving an empty band under the shorter cards. Each card now keeps its
   own height.
 * Fixed: the Short Description switch for product sliders and the Category Description
   switch for category sliders had no effect in the block editor and in Elementor,
   because each one also hid the other’s text. Each switch now works on its own.
   If you had switched one on, the text now appears.
 * Fixed: “Menu Order” in the Elementor widget sorted categories by name. It now
   follows the order you give the categories in WooCommerce, by dragging them under
   Products > Categories.
 * Fixed: some Pro hints in the block editor and in Elementor promised more than
   Pro does, or presented a free feature as Pro. Custom Badges adds automatic New
   and Bestseller badges, not labels of your own; the countdown appears on products
   whose sale has an end date; the “Only X left” note belongs to the free stock
   status, while Pro adds a stock bar and an earlier label; and only the block editor
   lets the grid view be the default.
 * Improved: the Free vs Pro table on the settings page lists everything Pro adds,
   including the thumbnail strip, lightbox, hover zoom, grid view, category switcher
   for visitors and load more, and shows that choosing categories, the no-crop frames
   and the “Only X left” stock note are free.
 * Improved: the “Get Pro” links open the Pro page in German for German-language
   admins and in English otherwise. Developers can change the address with the new
   wcsp_pro_url filter.
 * Fixed: the Quick Start guide now names the block as it appears in the inserter,
   and a few editor texts now use American English (“color” instead of “colour”,“
   cart” instead of “basket”).
 * Changed: the minimum WordPress version is now 6.6. The block’s editor script
   uses the JSX runtime that WordPress includes from 6.6 on, so on 6.3 to 6.5 the
   block could not load in the editor, although the plugin said it supported them.
   Sliders on the front end were not affected.
 * Updated: the translation template now includes every string in the plugin. It
   had not been regenerated since 4.0.0.
 * Docs: corrected the block name, the list of image ratios and hover effects, how
   the uncropped mode fills the frame, and how query caching is switched on. Removed
   a “related products” use case, since the plugin has no related products source.

#### 5.0.2

 * Improved: the block editor’s product source setting is now called “Products From”,
   the same as in the Elementor widget. It was labeled “Filter”, which is why people
   looking for the category option did not find it. “From Category” also moves up
   the list, from last place to second.
 * Removed: “Manual Selection” is no longer offered in the block editor, where it
   could not be used and only announced a future version. Picking individual products
   still works through the shortcode. Blocks already saved with it keep working
   and show a note explaining this.
 * Improved: the Pro feature for switching categories is now named “Category Switcher
   for Visitors” and says plainly that choosing which categories a slider shows
   is free. The old name made it look like the free category option had moved to
   Pro.
 * Docs: the description no longer lists “Manual Selection”, no longer promises
   a settings page with global defaults, and describes the no-crop mode as an option
   rather than the default.

#### 5.0.1

 * Compatibility: tested with WordPress 7.1 and WooCommerce 11.0. The plugin was
   still declaring WooCommerce 9.6, which made WooCommerce warn site owners about
   an untested extension.

#### 5.0.0

 * New: two ways to stop guessing at the image ratio. “Automatic” shapes one frame
   to suit the photos a shop actually has, taken from the median of the images on
   display so one odd photo cannot pull it away from the rest. “Follow each image”
   gives every card the shape of its own photo, so a mixture of portrait and landscape
   all fill their frames with nothing cropped and no space left over, at the cost
   of cards having different heights. Both work in the block editor, the Elementor
   widget and the shortcode.
 * New: in “Show full image” the frame takes the photo’s own background color, so
   each card reads as one flat surface instead of a photo sitting on a slightly
   different shade. Read from the edge of each image once and remembered. Works
   with GD or Imagick, handles palette PNGs, and leaves photos whose subject runs
   to the edge on the neutral default.
 * Improved: the Elementor widget now offers everything the block editor does. Gap,
   card padding, arrow size and the arrow and dot switches became responsive controls,
   so they can differ on desktop, tablet and mobile the way Elementor users expect.
   Dot shape, image background, category description, section and button alignment,
   button position, icon and padding were added as well.
 * Improved: both editors now name the Pro features in the panel each one belongs
   to, instead of listing three of them in a banner that disappeared once dismissed.
   Nothing has been moved out of the free version; everything listed has always
   been part of the Pro add-on.
 * Fixed: the block editor preview could differ from the published page, because
   the image ratio and fit settings were not sent to the server and anything derived
   from them fell back to defaults.
 * The slider element now carries a data-wcsp-v attribute naming the version that
   rendered it, which makes a stale cached copy easy to spot.

#### 4.7.0

 * New: 3:2 and 2:3 image ratios, the standard formats for photography. Both are
   available in the block editor, the Elementor widget and the shortcode, so prints
   and photo products can be cropped consistently without custom CSS. Requested
   by a plugin user.
 * Fixed: the category picker counted categories that had since been deleted, so
   it could report two selected while showing one. The count now reflects the categories
   that actually exist, and a deleted category’s leftover entry is cleared the next
   time you change the selection. Sliders on the front end were never affected.

#### 4.6.0

 * New: filter products by category in the Elementor widget. “Products From” now
   offers “From Category” together with a category picker, so you can build a category-
   specific WooCommerce product slider in Elementor without a shortcode. The Gutenberg
   block already had this, and the two now match. Thanks to the user who reported
   it in the support forum.
 * New: an “Exclude Categories” picker for the category carousel in the Elementor
   widget, again matching the block editor.
 * Improved: documentation. Several FAQ answers referred to settings by names that
   do not exist in the plugin, and a shortcode example used an invalid filter value.
   Both are corrected, and the FAQ now names each setting as it actually appears
   in the block editor and in Elementor.

#### 4.5.0

 * Improved: page speed across your whole site. The slider stylesheet and JavaScript,
   including the Swiper library, now load only on pages that actually contain a
   slider, instead of on every page. Pages without a WooCommerce product slider
   load none of it. Pro add-on assets follow the same rule automatically, with no
   setting to configure.
 * Works the same way for the Gutenberg block, the Elementor widget and the shortcode.
 * No visual or behavioral changes. Existing sliders are unaffected.

#### 4.4.1

 * Fixed: switching off Image or Title under Card Content did not hide them. A card-
   link style rule was overriding the setting, so the element stayed visible. Both
   now hide correctly, in the slider and in the grid view.
 * Fixed: starting a slider in grid view (a Pro option) could stretch each product
   card to the full slider width instead of laying out as a grid. The slider is
   now torn down cleanly before the grid takes over.

#### 4.4.0

 * New: a Transparent Image Background option, so product photos sit directly on
   your page background with no placeholder color behind them. Works in both crop
   and full-image modes, and is particularly useful for photography and print stores.
 * Improved: the category dropdown and the grid view toggle now sit on the same
   row as the section title instead of stacking, for a tidier slider header. (Both
   controls are part of the Pro add-on.)
 * Fixed: when the slider shortcode was used on a page whose content runs through
   the editor’s auto-formatting (including a page set as the WooCommerce Shop page),
   stray paragraphs and line breaks were added to the markup, causing unwanted spacing.
   The shortcode output is now immune to this without affecting the rest of your
   content.

#### 4.3.1

 * Fixed: admin notices from WordPress, WooCommerce or any other plugin were injected
   into the middle of the plugin’s header card on the settings screen, between the
   title and the description, which broke the layout. Notices now appear above the
   header, where they belong.

#### 4.3.0

 * Fixed: themes that style their content links and headings could override the
   card typography, leaving product titles underlined, recolored or oversized. Astra
   was one of them. The card rules now carry enough specificity to hold their own,
   without using !important, so your own customizations still work.
 * New for developers: the products data source accepts a productOffset attribute,
   so add-ons can fetch a later batch of the same query for paging.
 * New for developers: the wcsp_after_slider action renders controls directly after
   the slider, inside the wrapper.
 * New for developers: the section head can now be filtered on with wcsp_render_section_head,
   and add-ons can render controls inside it with the wcsp_section_head_end action.
 * New for developers: WCSP_Renderer::render_slides() renders just the slides for
   a set of attributes, so add-ons can reload a slider’s contents without duplicating
   the card pipeline.

#### 4.2.0

 * New: Content Alignment option (Left, Center, Right) for the card title, price
   and other text. Available in the block, the Elementor widget and the shortcode
   with align=”center”.
 * New: Max Width option. Caps how wide the slider can grow and centers it, which
   keeps single-column sliders pleasant on full width themes. Available in the block,
   the Elementor widget and the shortcode with max_width=”1140″.
 * Improved: the slider can no longer grow wider than its parent container.
 * Fixed: the Fade transition now also removes the gap between slides, so a single
   fading image fills the full width with no dead space or shift.
 * Fixed: product and category images are no longer hard cropped to 4:3 on disk.
   The slider now uses a proportional image and applies the chosen aspect ratio
   with CSS, so photos of any ratio (for example 3:2 or 2:3) keep their real proportions
   and the “show full image” mode shows the true original. The image size can be
   changed with the wcsp_image_size filter.
 * Fixed: in the block editor preview the slider now recalculates its size when
   a max width or layout applies, so the image stays centered and the navigation
   arrows line up with it. Enabled Swiper size observers for more robust resizing.

#### 4.1.0

 * New: Fade transition, in addition to Slide. Fade shows one item at a time, which
   is ideal for a single large image. Available in the block, the Elementor widget
   and the shortcode with effect=”fade”.
 * New: Image Fit option. “Show full image” displays photos uncropped on a neutral
   backdrop, ideal for photography. Available in the block, the Elementor widget
   and the shortcode with fit=”contain”.

#### 4.0.5

 * Improved: The slider now respects the system “reduced motion” setting. When enabled,
   autoplay is disabled, slide transitions are instant and hover motion is removed.
 * Improved: Nicer category multi-select in the block editor (roomier rows, hover
   and selected highlight, softer scrollbar).

#### 4.0.3

 * Improved: Expanded documentation with popular use cases and additional FAQs
 * Added: Link to the live demo

#### 4.0.2

 * New: Lift + Zoom hover effect (combines the card lift with the image zoom)
 * New: Support section on the settings page with review and donation links
 * Changed: Refreshed plugin directory tags

#### 4.0.1

 * New: Elementor widget with full option parity to the block (block, Elementor
   and shortcode share one render engine)
 * Changed: Lowered the minimum PHP requirement to 7.4 for wider hosting compatibility
 * Improved: Documentation and minor refinements

#### 4.0.0

 * Rewritten with a cleaner, faster architecture
 * New: Shine hover effect
 * New: Per-device scale control (desktop, tablet, mobile)
 * New: Two card styles (Clean Card, Minimal), with hooks for add-ons to add more
 * New: Public hook API for add-on integrations
 * New: Settings page with global defaults, shortcode generator, performance, cache
   and help sections
 * Improved: Block editor sidebar split into Settings and Styles panels
 * Improved: Only relevant options are shown in the block sidebar
 * Improved: All block attributes preserved for backward compatibility with existing
   pages

#### 3.0.2

 * Previous stable release
